4 vehicles found on fire at Riverside business

RIVERSIDE — Firefighters worked to put out flames that engulfed four vehicles in front of a business on Intercity Drive around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

A fire chief at the scene said the original call came in as a structure fire at McMahan’s Bottle Gas in the 3500 block of Intercity Drive.

Crews arrived to find that it wasn’t the structure that caught fire. Instead, four vehicles near the property were in flames.

No one was reported injured during the incident and investigators are still working to sort out what exactly happened and how the cars caught on fire.
