$200K in Fentanyl seized during traffic stop in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS — Two men deputies said were in possession of Fentanyl with an estimated street value of more than $200,000 were arrested during a traffic stop in Huber Heights on Monday.

Jose Alfonso Rios of Phoenix and Jesus Vidal-Portillo of Mexico were arrested by members of the Miami Valley Bulk Smuggling Task Force on Ohio 202 near Interstate 70, according to deputies.

Both men were arrested as authorities observed "criminal indicators that led them to believe a narcotics offense" was occurring, according to a prepared statement.

The two suspects are being held in the Montgomery County Jail on drug-related charges, according to court records.
