2 men shot in Dayton while standing outside

DAYTON — Police were called to Miami Valley Hospital early Sunday morning after hospital staff reported two gunshot victims arrived by private car.

Devon Collier, 21, and Bryant Moore, 26, told police they were shot around 2 a.m. outside in the 2400 block of Oakridge Avenue near Westwood avenue, according to a Dayton police report.

Moore said they were standing outside his vehicle drinking a beer when they heard several gunshots. He told police he ducked, and then noticed he had been shot in his hand when he stood up. Collier was shot in the left arm, left foot and left toe area, the report stated.

Moore drove Collier and himself to the hospital in a Pontiac grand prix. Both men told police they did not see anything.

Police also noted in their report that there was a fatal shooting at the K-9 Club in Jefferson Twp. followed by multiple shootings on the west side of Dayton, all around 2 a.m. However, Collier and Moore both said they had not been at the club, the report stated.
