Police: Fairborn man received nude teen photo

A Fairborn man is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old girl, including receiving a nude photo of her, according to court documents.

Dustin Lee Adkins, 18, was arrested Tuesday and has been charged with use of a minor in nudity oriented material, a felony.

According to a statement of facts, police became involved in the investigation in April, when the teen’s mother reported that her daughter had run away and while investigating her cell phone found a photo “which displayed a female exposing her breast.”

The mother told police she believed the photo was of her daughter, court documents read.

After police checked Adkins’ home a couple weeks later, they discovered that the juvenile had been staying with him for about a month and the photo was of the teen.

Adkins’ also had received another photo of the teen in her bra and panties, according to court documents.

The teen told police, “Dustin wanted to have sex with her so she sent him the photo, hoping he would stop asking for sex,” according to the statement of facts in the case.

Adkins told police “he’s tried dating girls his age, but he got ‘crapped on’, and that’s when he started dating younger girls, and he ‘fell in love’ with the juvenile,” the document read.

A date for Adkins’ arraignment has not yet been set.
