DAYTON — Police in Dayton have arrested two adults and one juvenile suspected in a string of robberies over the weekend in which the victims reported the robbers were traveling in a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows and using handguns with laser sights.

Similar circumstances were reported in at least three separate robberies that happened Friday night and early Saturday morning.

Two people reported being robbed while walking home around midnight Saturday in the 1600 block of West Second Street, according to the Dayton police report.

The pair reported a car matching the description of a dark-colored sedan approached them in an alley. Two people exited from the back seat, brandishing guns with laser sights and demanding their possessions, according to the report.

The victims handed over their wallets and ran home. Police said they waited approximately eight hours before calling police out of fear the robbers were still in the area and would see police at their door.

Earlier that same night, the same vehicle and firearms were described in two incidents.
