Armed robber targets Marco’s Pizza in Kettering

KETTERING — Police are searching for an armed robber tonight who held up Marco’s Pizza on Smithville Road.

The robbery was reported about 7:10 p.m. at 2400 Smithville Road.

The suspect displayed a handgun and was described as a male wearing a maroon knit cap and gray shirt with a tattoo on the back of his neck, Kettering police dispatch confirmed.

A police K-9 from Miami Twp. was called to assist Kettering police find the suspect, who fled in an unknown direction, dispatch said. There were no reports of injuries.
