Celina schools closed Monday, others delayed following strong storms, tornado

CELINA — Celina Schools will be closed Monday due to the Sunday storms and suspected tornadoes, the district announced.

Several schools are also on a two-hour delay, including Eaton Community Schools, Tecumseh Local and Wright State Lake Campus. Tecumseh is on a delay due to high water in the area.

Two tornadoes may have touched down in Mercer County Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

A storm survey is scheduled for Monday morning and will reveal more details about the severe storms that made their way through Wabash and Celina.
