WPAFB Friday Weather: Highs near 90; potential storms

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — The heat continues across the regions as the humidity soars.

Temperatures are expected to climb back to near 90 degrees outside of any showers and storms. The heat index may top over 95 degrees at times.

There is a chance for a round of storms in the morning with a slight chance for more developing late in the day or into tonight.

Any storms that do develop will have the potential to produce strong winds along with locally heavy rainfall.

The threat for strong storms will continue into the start of the weekend before a cold front can finally clear the area late Sunday or into early Monday.
