2 arrested a day after pursuit involving box truck in Greene County

UPDATE @ 12:26 p.m. (Sept. 14):

Two people were arrested 24 hours after they were said to be involved in a high-speed pursuit involving a box truck through Greene and Clinton Counties last Friday.

Cruiser camera video shows the pursuit travel through Xenia and into Spring Valley Twp. where the box truck exited the road into a cornfield and the suspects were able to get away.

Officials said 24 hours later they were tipped off that the suspects were at a mobile home in Spring Valley Twp.

The man and woman were arrested and charges are pending.  Their identities have not been released.

INITIAL REPORT:

Greene County law enforcement are working to locate a pursuit suspect who fled, according to emergency scanner traffic.

A pursuit of a white box truck started around 11:30 a.m. today in Xenia. The pursuit has ended in Spring Valley and the suspect ran away.

A resident of the mobile home park said residents are being told to lock their doors.
