Venus and Jupiter shine bright tonight

Look to the western sky near dusk Wednesday night for a unique view of two planets.

Although their orbits are nowhere near one another, Jupiter and Venus will line up in such a way that they appear to touch.

In fact, Venus is the second planet from the sun, while Jupiter is the fifth.

The pairing was also visible Tuesday night.

These two planets will not meet this way again until August 2016.
