Strong odor of gas brings crews to Moraine Auto

Emergency crews were sent to Moraine Auto Parts for the complaint of a strong odor of gas about 8 a.m. Thursday. After over an hour, they determined hydrogen sulfide was coming from a drain and began ventilating the building.

Later, an overheating battery charging station was found and removed from the building.

One lane of traffic is blocked while the crews finish clearing the scene.
