Pedestrian strike in Kettering injures teen

UPDATE @ 2:30 a.m.:

Kettering police say a teenager suffered only minor injuries after being hit by a car Tuesday morning.

Officers say the male around 18-years-old was struck attempting to cross Woodman Drive near Adventure Drive around 1:30 a.m.

The victim was transported to Kettering Medical Center with minor, non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by Kettering police. No word on any potential charges against the driver of the vehicle.

Police and medics have responded to a reported pedestrian strike near the intersection of Woodman and Adventure drives in Kettering.

Crews were dispatched around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, and reports indicate traffic is blocked northbound on Woodman Drive at Forrer Boulevard.
