Miami Valley Hospital has first baby of 2015

UPDATE @ 3:17 p.m.-

Springfield Regional Medical Center’s first baby of 2015 was also a boy, hospital officials reported. They said the baby was born at 11:49 a.m.

FIRST REPORT-

Two baby boys made their debut in the early hours of 2015.

Miami Valley Hospital had the first New Year’s baby in the area, according to hospital officials. They said a baby boy was born at 12:17 a.m.

Officials for Kettering Health Network said their first baby of the new year, also a boy, was born at 1:38 a.m. at Soin Medical Center.

As of 11 a.m., there was not a baby born in 2015 at Springfield Regional Medical Center.
