Funeral home offering DNA banking

A funeral home in the Springfield area is one of the first in the country to offer DNA banking of your recently received deceased loved ones.

The DNA can be preserved and even put inside pendants or glass orbs. A manager at the company DNA Memorial says the technology has been around for seven or eight years, and they’ve only recently partnered with the funeral industry in the past year.
