A few showers will be possible overnight, but it will stay quiet through sunrise. After that, more showers and storms are expected across the area, StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said.
Overnight temperatures will fall to the upper 60s.
A flood warning in in place through 7 a.m. Friday for Darke, Champaign, Auglaize, Mercer, Shelby and Logan counties, according to the National Weather Service. Communities that could experience flooding include: Bellefontaine, Sidney, Botkins, Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Minster, New Bremen and Russells Point.
A flood warning for the Great Miami River in Sidney remains in place through 2 p.m. Friday; and a flood warning was extended until 6:48 p.m. Friday for the St. Marys River near Rockford, the NWS reported.
Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will redevelop in the afternoon, but the most coverage will be south of Interstate 70. Highs will be near 80 degrees.
Saturday: Moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill will enhance the chance for more heavy rainfall as thunderstorms return during the day. Highs will reach the low 80s.
Father's Day: More showers and thunderstorms are expected with highs in the mid-80s.
Monday: A weak cold front will approach the area, keeping the chance for more storms in the forecast. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
Tuesday: A passing shower or thunderstorm is possible, with highs in the low to mid-80s.
