Driver suffers medical emergency, dies in Dayton

UPDATE @ 12:48 p.m.

Police tell us one person has died in a crash near the Good Samaritan Hospital.

The driver suffered a medical emergency, according to police.

A sport utility vehicle is butted up against a utility pole. It apparently rolled into the pole at a slow speed as there is minimal damage to the SUV.

We’re working to learn more about a crash that has Benson and West Fairview avenues blocked in Dayton.

Crews responded shortly after 11 a.m. to the scene.
