Teen girl shot overnight in Dayton

UPDATE @ 11:25 a.m.

According to the Dayton police report, a 16-year-old female was shot, but the injury was not life-threatening.

The rear window of a Buick Le Sabre was shot out as well, and police listed two suspect vehicles: A 2003 Chevy Malibu with heavy front end damage and a dark blue 2013 Hyundai Sonata with passenger side and front end damage, according to the report.

Officers interviewed several teenagers at the scene, but no arrests have been made, according to the report.

Dayton Police have responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Burleigh Avenue.

Initial reports say a woman was shot while in her car in a possible drive-by shooting. The suspect’s vehicle was also involved in an accident nearby at the intersection of Leland Avenue and Flanigan Drive, according to early reports.
