Teens require rescue from vacant Kmart roof

At least two young teenagers required rescue by fire crews after trespassing onto a vacant Kmart roof in Xenia.

Fire crews responded to 200 West Main Street around 6:30 p.m. and removed the youths using a fire truck ladder, according to scanner traffic.

The young boys appeared to be middle school aged, and did not seem scared during the incident, witness Susan Siouxsin Bush said.

It is unclear at this time how the boys made it onto the roof or if they will be charged.
