The arrests occurred about 7:11 p.m. on Tubman Avenue by Dayton police, who trailed a burgundy Trailblazer when it left the interstate after someone in the vehicle fired shots at a Jeep near the Stewart Street exit.

The rolling shots fired report was dispatched about 6:30 p.m. There is no word whether anyone was hit by the gunfire.

As police followed the Trailblazer, the driver bailed out on Tubman Avenue and disposed of a gun near a small child, officers tell us. The child was not injured.
