Salem Ave. Family Dollar robbed with a note

On Sunday, a woman handed a Family Dollar clerk a note that demanded money and then left in a blue car about 9:45 a.m. During the robbery at 3222 Salem Ave., the woman allegedly told the clerk she had a gun but never showed it.

The clerk was able to give police the license plate number from the vehicle the robber was driving, and store surveillance video showed the crime.

Police arrested Stephanie Williams, 31 and booked her into Montgomery County jail. She’s facing two felony counts; aggravated robbery and receiving stolen property.
