Neighbors complaining about drugs being sold on Suman Ave. led police to the 1700 block and led to the arrest of the homeowner.
Officers reported a strong smell of burnt and raw marijuana when they approached the home Tuesday about 6 p.m. The man who identified himself as the homeowner, Christopher Allen, allowed officers to enter his home and consented to a search of the property.
In the Dayton police report, officers said they found a large quantity of marijuana in several places, hundreds in cash and a stolen camera.
Allen was arrested and is facing drug possession and receiving stolen property charges. He’s in Montgomery County Jail and will be in court Thursday afternoon.
