Man arrested for burglary in Kettering

A Kettering man has been arrested accused of breaking into a home on Peony Place last week.

Kettering police arrested Dustin Shepherd, 18, at a home in the 2500 block of Danz Avenue Wednesday morning around 8 a.m, according to Officer Ron Roberts with the Kettering Police Department.

During a search warrant at the home on Danz, Detectives recovered evidence from the home burglary that occurred at a residence in the 2900 block of Peony Friday.

A Kettering police report showed a laptop, 42-inch TV, a ring and bottle of medication were taken from the Peony home.

Shepherd was booked into the Kettering City Jail on a pending charge of burglary. Formal charges are currently being presented to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
