Gunmen rob Dayton restaurant at dinnertime

Two unidentified males robbed the Dragon City Restaurant, 3031 N. Gettysburg Ave., at gunpoint around dinnertime Tuesday.

The owner told police the two robbers entered the restaurant shortly before 6 p.m., one pointed a gun at her head and the other pointed a gun at her 14-year-old son, who was standing by the register, according to the Dayton police report.

The owner told officers they demanded she open the door to get behind the counter, but she was too scarred and was unable to do it, according to the report.

Police said after getting some money from the reigster, the robbers ran toward a nearby apartment building and one of them slipped and dropped some of the money.

Police are reviewing surveillance video from a nearby business in order to identify the suspects.
