A 78-year-old Greenville woman was taken to a hospital after she apparently lost control of her vehicle and hit two utility poles on Horatio-Harris Creek Road, the Darke County Sheriff’s Office said.

Bonnie Whitted’s condition was not known, the sheriff’s office said in a prepared statement released Tuesday night. She was taken to Wayne HealthCare by Gettysburg Rescue.

According to the sheriff’s office, Whitted was westbound in the 6400 block of Horatio-Harris Creek Road, in a silver Jeep, when the accident occurred just before 11 a.m.
