I-75 in Cincinnati reopens after double shooting

UPDATE @3:21 p.m.:

Police have cleared the scene on I-75 and reopened the highway.

UPDATE @2:36 p.m.: A man and a woman in a car on northbound I-75 outside Cincinnati were shot at at least 10 times from another vehicle.

Police said both the female driver and male passenger were in a gold car when they were shot by someone inside a dark sedan, according to our partners at WCPO.

The victims were taken to a local hospital. Their condition is not known.

No shots were fired from the gold car.

UPDATE @1:08 p.m.:

Traffic is being rerouted to Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway (SR 126N), according to ODOT.

First take:

Northbound I-75 is closed at Galbraith Road south of Lockland after two people were shot on the highway, according to our partners at WCPO.

There is not an estimate for when the highway will reopen, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Police are looking for suspects in the shooting, but did not provide further details, according to WCPO.
