Death, hospitalization under investigation in Shelby County

In Shelby County, the death of Ricky Swob, 51, and the hospitalization of Danny Moses, 56, remains under investigation.

While the full results of the autopsy on Swob is “weeks away,” evidence taken from the scene leads deputies to believe the incident was drug related.

Shelby County Sheriff John Lenhart said Monday morning, “it appears to involve a mixture of drugs to include heroin.”

Swob and Moses were found in their home in the 4600 block of Hardin-Wapak Road near Sidney around 2 p.m. Friday.
