Careflight was called after a male was thrown from a motorcycle without a helmet in Urbana.
Police and medics responded to the cross of State Route 296 and U.S. Route 68 a little before 3:45 p.m.
The male was found unconscious with a head injury and was flown to Miami Valley Hospital.
The accident involved one other vehicle according to Champaign County police.
Police have not yet determined who was at fault and the accident remains under investigation.
