Two arrested in connection to Warren County shooting

A man and woman are behind bars in connection to a Saturday night shooting in Salem Twp., according to Warren County Sheriff's Office release.

Crews were called shortly before 9:30 p.m. for a gunshot victim, who was taken to Bethesda North Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, deputies said.

Larry Fields Jr., 38, of Lebanon, was arrested and charged with one count of felonious assault, according to deputies.

Michelle Hofmann, 33, of Blanchester, was arrested and charged with one count of obstructing justice and one count of tampering with evidence.

Deputies said the two were arrested after members of the Warren County Tactical Response Unit had to force entry into Fields' home.

Hofmann was charged in connection with the shooting, according to the release, and two others in the home were arrested on outstanding warrants.
