Troy bakery donates money to help revitalize the town during pandemic

TROY — A bakery in downtown Troy, Bakehouse Bread & Cookie Co., presented a check for $4,476 Wednesday afternoon.

The donation will be used to attract shoppers and diners back to Troy during this pandemic.

Bakehouse Bread & Cookie Co. sponsored several recent downtown barbecues to benefit the organization Troy Main Street.

Troy Main Street is a non-profit organization that promotes the economic revitalization of downtown Troy, as a vision for the downtown merchants.
