Excessive speed a factor in Dayton crash; 4 injured

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 3 p.m. 

Excessive speed is believed to be a factor in a rollover crash that injured four people at Five Oaks and Forest avenues in Dayton Tuesday.

Two people suffered serious injuries, but police said all injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. All four people were transported to Grandview Hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation and additional details were not immediately available.

FIRST REPORT

At least four medic units have been dispatched to a serious crash reported at the intersection of Five Oaks and Forest avenues in Dayton Tuesday afternoon.

The incident was reported around 2:25 p.m. and will require the intersection to be blocked to an extended period of time, according to initial reports.
