Semis collide near I-70 ramp in Huber Heights

The crash occurred when the driver of one of the trucks involved had a medical emergency and he lost control of the vehicle, officials said. Southbound Old Troy was diverted while tow truck drivers lifted the truck that was on its side. The scene is expected to be cleared soon.

First report:We have reports of a crash involving two semi trucks on Interstate 70 and Troy Pike in Huber Heights Friday afternoon. One truck is on its side and traffic is backed up, eyewitnesses said.

The truck collided on Troy Pike, near the westbound I70 ramp. Troy Pike is shut down between Executive Boulevard.

An ambulance left the scene with a patient, but it’s not clear who it was.
