Man shot in Springfield; flown to hospital

SPRINGFIELD — UPDATE @ 8:05 P.M.:

Springfield Police Division confirmed a man was shot near the intersection of E. Grand and Clifton Avenues Saturday afternoon.

According to dispatchers, the man was flown to Miami Valley Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

The shooting is under investigation.

INITIAL REPORT:

Crews are on scene of a reported shooting in Springfield.

Springfield dispatch said they received calls reporting a person shot in the area of E. Grand and Clifton Avenues at approximately 4:36 p.m.

Initial emergency scanner traffic reported that a person was shot inside of a vehicle in the area.
