SILVERCREEK TWP., Greene County — A pedestrian was struck tonight on the U.S. 35 ramp at Old U.S. 35.
The crash was reported around 8:50 p.m. The scene was cleared by 10:30 p.m.
According to initial reports, the pedestrian ran out of gas on the ramp and was carrying a gas can when he was hit by a vehicle, possibly a Jeep.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Xenia Post is investigating the crash.
The victim was taken to the Miami Valley Hospital Jamestown Emergency Center, where he will be transferred by CareFlight to the main hospital in Dayton, according to the OSP.
