Man armed with wooden 2-by-4 robs several people at South Park Tavern

Police are looking for a man who used a 2-by-4 piece of wood in robbing at least three patrons at the South Park Tavern in Dayton.

The man took several cell phones in the robbery that occurred in the outdoor eating area of the restaurant, 1301 Wayne Ave., about 9:30 p.m., Dayton police said. No one was injured.

Police brought in a K-9 unit as several officers searched the neighborhood for the assailant.
