Middletown man killed in German Twp. crash

A 39-year-old male driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash during the dense fog period this morning.

The crash on Ohio 725 in German Twp. was discovered by a firefighter/paramedic who drove by the scene shortly before 7:30 a.m., according to German Twp. police.

The fog may have been a factor in the crash. Police said preliminary findings indicate the vehicle traveled through a field before striking a tree on the side of the road.

The victim’s identity has not been released.

Deputies and medics have been dispatched to a reported serious single-vehicle crash on Ohio 725 in German Twp., Montgomery County Tuesday morning.

Crews were dispatched to the 15000 block of Ohio 725, west of Browns Run Road in German Twp., on reports of a vehicle into a tree.
