1 taken to hospital after car crashes into building in Dayton

DAYTON — One person was taken to the hospital after a crash in Dayton Saturday afternoon.

Just after 12 p.m. Dayton police and fire were called to reports of a car into a building at North Main and East First streets, according to Montgomery County regional dispatch.

Fire crews also noted there being shattered glass as a result of the crash, dispatchers said.

The driver was said to have been experiencing a medical emergency before the crash, dispatch notes indicate.

One person was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with unknown injuries.

We are working to learn the condition of the person hurt and the damage done to the building.
