DAYTON — A 24-year-old man told police he was walking along West Grand Avenue Friday night when he was robbed at gunpoint by someone who was traveling in a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Grand, according to the Dayton police report.
The victim told officers the robber, estimated to be in his late teens, exited the rear driver’s side of the sedan and pointed a handgun at him, demanding everything he had, according to the report.
The victim gave him his Ice watch and black bookbag, which contained his Ohio identity card, according to the report. The watch was described as having a white band, silver ring and a black face, according to the report.
The robber returned to the vehicle with the man’s possessions and the vehicle, which was occupied by at least two others, fled going west on West Grand Avenue, south on Ferguson Avenue and west on Superior Avenue, according to the report.
