Police believe suspicious man at Beavercreek bus stop not a threat

Beavercreek police were patrolling bus stops, and spotted the man and talked to him.

Officers said after talking with the man, they do not consider him to be a threat, police said.

Beavercreek police will increase patrols at various school bus stops in the city after receiving at least one report of a suspicious man approaching children at a bus stop, officers said.

Officers said a man believed to be in his 60s or 70s approached children at a bus stop in the city and began taking photos and asking personal questions Thursday.

Police said the man became agitated when parents confronted him.
