Man indicted in child sex case faces more charges

A man indicted last week on more than 20 child sex-related charges today was indicted on more charges.

David Mattox, of Miami Twp., now faces an additional 10 charges of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, a second-degree felony, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

Mattox was arrested July 16, his 60th birthday. A county grand jury last week indicted him on numerous charges, including: 14 counts of rape involving children younger than 13 and 10; six counts of gross sexual imposition with victims younger than 13; and two counts of kidnapping.

The case against Mattox involves children who were known to him, said Greg Flannagan of the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

A man indicted today on numerous child sex charges was arrested last week on his 60th birthday.

David Mattox, of Miami Twp., is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday after a Montgomery County grand jury indicted him on more than 20 charges, including: 14 counts of rape involving children younger than 13 and 10; six counts of gross sexual imposition with victims younger than 13; and two counts of kidnapping.

The case against Mattox involves three children who were known to him, said Greg Flannagan of the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

He has been incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail since his July 16th arrest, online jail records show.
