DEA: Raid at Mexican market deals with money, drug laundering

UPDATE @11:30 a.m. 9/23/2014: DEA Resident Agent in Charge Chris Melink said the investigation at La Michoacana is part of an ongoing investigation that stems from a larger raid in Columbus at multiple locations. He said the investigation deals with cross border drug and money laundering.

Additional information is expected to be released later today or Wednesday morning.

The DEA and Dayton police are at a Mexican market in Dayton this morning.

Officials have not commented on the investigation at La Michoacana on Troy Street.
