GREENVILLE — There are four people in custody tonight following a robbery at Walgreens.
The four suspects were caught on Park Drive near the drugstore, 1000 E. Main St., which was blocked by yellow police tape.
The robbery happened shortly before 5 p.m., and the suspects displayed a weapon before fleeing the store, Greenville police said.
The four male suspects’ getaway vehicle, a minivan, was found just blocks away, where Greenville officers and Darke County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three suspects. The fourth fled on foot but also was taken into custody, according to our news partner The Early Bird. Police also found a stolen handgun inside the minivan, police told the newspaper.
Greenville police said the incident remains under investigation.
