Fiona has already outgrown two pools and is allowed to have supervised pool time now that her IV has been removed.

Hippos don’t actually swim. They float and are able to hold their breath for long periods of time.

Spending time in the pool will help Fiona build muscle and lung strength and keep her skin moist.

The pool is close to her mom and dad so she can hear and smell them.
