WPAFB Tuesday Weather: Summer-like heat, humidity continue for the day

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Unseasonably warm weather will continue for another day with highs expected to be back in the 80s, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

It will stay mild and muggy tonight into Wednesday with clouds rolling in Wednesday morning. Scattered showers and storms will develop Wednesday afternoon and increase into Wednesday night as a strong cold front approaches. Highs will be near 80 Wednesday.

After some early morning showers Thursday, clouds will break as blustery conditions begin to bring in much cooler air. Temperatures will fall from the mid 60s Thursday morning into the 50s by late in the day. The much cooler air will stick around Friday and Saturday with highs holding in the 50s.
