WPAFB Tuesday Weather: Mixed rain to end by morning; set to return tonight

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—A mix of sleet and rain will exit very early Tuesday morning with some wet roads possible, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

The weather will improve through the day as sunshine returns through midday. Clouds will move back in this evening with showers developing. Highs will reach into the lower 50s by late afternoon.

As temperatures drop tonight, rain showers will mix and then change to snow showers by Wednesday morning. No snow accumulation is expected. It will be blustery and chilly Wednesday with occasional snow showers lingering.

The snow may mix with or change to some rain in the afternoon.
