WPAFB Monday Weather: Showers, storms expected early on

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—The chance for more showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for today, Storm Center Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

While it won’t be an all day rain event and it won’t be a wash-out, you’ll want to be weather aware. The best chances for these showers and storms appear to be in the later morning hours in to the early afternoon. Some could be strong with the biggest concerns being strong winds and heavy rain.

Temperatures this afternoon should top out in the middle, maybe upper 80s, so it will be a warm and muggy day again. Just like the last few days, it will be breezy as well.
