WPAFB Monday Weather: Cold weather, possible snow flurries to start the week

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—Cold weather returns as we start the new week with clouds lingering, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

A few snow showers will be possible through the day as temperatures struggle to climb into the upper 30s. Snow showers will linger into the night with a coating possible on grassy areas late tonight. Temperatures will fall to near 30 degrees by morning.

After a few flurries early Tuesday, clouds will slowly begin to break late in the day. Temperatures will rebound a bit into the middle to upper 40s by afternoon. Warmer weather is expected midweek, although there will be the chance for rain showers in the area by afternoon.
