Will roads stay dry this Thanksgiving?

Gearing up for Thanksgiving this week might have you trying to plan when to head out the door to get to your destination. If you are staying close to home in the Miami Valley or driving to another city, here is what you can expect.

MIAMI VALLEY:

Wednesday looks dry and breezy. Thursday from the morning through the late afternoon will feature a chilly rain. This will keep the roads wet. Friday morning a few flurries might be flying. This WON’T result in accumulation but any puddles from Thanksgiving day rain showers might create an isolated slick spot or two.

INDIANAPOLIS:

Dry and breezy Wednesday. Wednesday night, rain showers will return. Thanksgiving day the rain will end after lunch. Friday the roads will be dry but it will be cold.

PITTSBURGH:

Wednesday will stay dry and breezy. Thanksgiving day, rain showers will arrive late in the afternoon. Friday, snow showers will linger through the day which could create some slick roads.

IN THE AIR

Rain will impact Chicago airports on Thursday. Rain showers will move through New York on Thursday and early Friday morning. Atlanta will also experience a few passing showers Thursday night but has a quiet outlook the rest of the week.

Be safe and enjoy your Thanksgiving!
