Venus Shines Bright this Month

Venus and Jupiter have been easy to see in the evening sky since February. As we continue through mid-March, you can still enjoy the two. Venus will be a popular planet to watch all month! Jupiter is lower in the western sky because it sets closer to sunset but Venus will stay above the horizon a little longer. Around 8:30 p.m. mid-month you can catch both planets in the sky before they set.

March 23 and March 24 you will see Venus shine close to the crescent moon! You can see the planet close to the moon from 8:30 p.m. until about 11 p.m.
