Full Harvest Moon & planets shine Friday night

The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox. The equinox is September 22, so the full moon on September 10 is the Full Harvest Moon. The moon becomes full at 5:59 a.m. Saturday morning. This means on Friday night, the moon will be big and bright all night long!

The moon will rise at 7:59 p.m. and shine brightly. There will be two visible planets up all night with the moon.

They are Jupiter and Saturn. Saturn will be to the right, and Jupiter will stay to the left of the moon.
