Conjunction of Venus and Jupiter this Weekend

A few fun mornings over the weekend for stargazers this week! If you look outside before sunrise to the east, you’ll see several planets light up the sky! The best part of the weekend will be the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus. This means the two plants will look like they come together, almost on top of each other. The seperation of Jupiter and Venus during the conjunction is less than the diameter of the moon.

Check out these two over several mornings from April 29-May 2 to see them come together and then drift apart! If you look above the two you may also notice Mars and Saturn.

Clouds won’t totally cooperate but you might get lucky and catch a glimpse over the next several mornings.
